Mumbai Masala

Custom illuminated restaurant signage for Mumbai Masala in Ottawa, Canada, developed from the client’s original layout into a more distinctive identity.

The starting artwork placed a dark picture inside a prominent yellow circle. We reworked the balance between the name, emblem and background so the restaurant’s identity could lead the design. After approving the new artwork, the client commissioned the finished sign.

The workshop photographs show the dimensional lettering and sparkling side detail from several angles. According to the owner’s account, the client was delighted first by the redesign and then by the short video of the completed sign. The gallery also includes the sign after installation in Ottawa.
